About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. The role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping the store and finding products. Key duties include collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, moving equipment and products for cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with provided materials and equipment. The Team Member may also be responsible for mixing cleaning solutions, deep cleaning specific areas like bathrooms and breakrooms, and maintaining cleaning equipment. The role requires initiative in identifying and completing cleaning tasks, performing duties in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines, and maintaining positive interactions with team members and customers. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, promoting Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is essential.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping the store.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Execute Company policies and standards.
