Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in restaurant supervision or progressive retail experience.
  • Able to learn and operate warehouse equipment such as electric stacker, electric pallet jack, and hand pallet jack.
  • A wonderful smile and great attitude working with a team.
  • Positive, friendly, and social with customers and team members.
  • Mature and reliable with strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Flexible schedule and able to work evenings, weekend shifts, as well as federal and civic holidays.
  • Excellent coach, mentor, teacher, and communicator who cherishes the experience of managing and working with people.
  • Ability to adapt and lead others in a constantly changing, high-paced, but fun environment.
  • Dynamic role requiring multi-tasking with the ability to work independently.
  • Physical ability to work long hours standing/walking and bending at the waist.
  • Tasks involve grasping using repetitive hand action and reaching above shoulder height.
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing at least 11.3 kg (25 lbs).

Responsibilities

  • Scoop ice cream, make milkshakes and assist customers with their purchases.
  • Assist the store management team to maintain and improve procedures and personnel practices for store inventory.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and practice inventory rotation and control.
  • Analyze inventory variances and implement improvements.
  • Assist the store management team to establish and maintain work schedules based on customer ordering variances.
  • Train all staff in exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and supervise staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and productive team working environment.
  • Supervise staff in proper product preparation and handling practices.
  • Assist the store management team in maintaining communication with staff and customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns or escalate them as appropriate.
  • Ensure front of house offerings are prepared with the highest caliber of presentation.
  • Monitor and report on personnel practices.
  • Maintain safe and sanitary conditions for staff and customers.
  • Retain thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the store management team to maintain schedules and procedures for inspection and monitoring of store equipment, building, processes, and procedures.
  • Follow inspection schedules for equipment and building.
  • Perform inspections and monitoring of processes and procedures.
