About The Position

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day sales and store operations while meeting customer service standards. The role oversees the sales team, store employees, inventory and financial information, product availability and displays, and operational tasks for institutional sales and rental accounts. The manager also promotes the Music & Arts lesson program and supports teachers. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• Musical experience and interest.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the sales team through coaching, counseling, advice, motivation, and other assistance to help achieve sales objectives.
• Stay current on financial data, inventory, and other statistics.
• Ensure products are available for purchase and displayed appropriately.
• Oversee payroll, recruiting, hiring, and training of store employees.
• Execute daily operational tasks related to institutional sales and rental services for assigned accounts.
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program and assist teachers.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
