About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment, builds positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and works with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. The role focuses on inspiring students and supporting their musical growth, while Music & Arts handles administrative work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
