About The Position

As Retail Store Manager in Cedar Rapids, you’ll lead daily store operations, protect inventory accuracy, and elevate results through consistent execution and strong customer service. This position exists to ensure the shop runs smoothly, meets sales goals, and represents the Girl Scouts brand with integrity.

Requirements

Retail leadership experience (Sales Manager or store-lead background preferred)
Strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort with multitasking
Clear communication and a customer-focused, problem-solving approach

Responsibilities

Supervising one part-time staff member
Managing merchandising, inventory counts, and replenishment
Handling payments, returns, and order fulfillment
Serving as the office lead for administrative coordination
Planning/executing pop-up retail events across the 38-county council territory
Opening the shop, reviewing priorities, and setting the floor for a polished, welcoming experience
Shifting between the register, quick customer questions, and keeping product displays current
Checking on inventory levels
Coordinating with the office on operational needs
Confirming details for upcoming pop-up locations
Staying visible on the floor
Ensuring Customer Service standards are met
Reconciling the day’s activity, noting follow-ups, and preparing the store for the next business day
