About The Position

As Retail Store Manager in Cedar Rapids, you’ll lead daily store operations, protect inventory accuracy, and elevate results through consistent execution and strong customer service. This position exists to ensure the shop runs smoothly, meets sales goals, and represents the Girl Scouts brand with integrity.

Requirements

Retail leadership experience (Sales Manager or store-lead background preferred)
Strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort with multitasking
Clear communication and a customer-focused, problem-solving approach

Responsibilities

Lead daily store operations
Protect inventory accuracy
Elevate results through consistent execution and strong customer service
Ensure the shop runs smoothly
Meet sales goals
Represent the Girl Scouts brand with integrity
Supervise one part-time staff member
Manage merchandising, inventory counts, and replenishment
Handle payments, returns, and order fulfillment
Serve as the office lead for administrative coordination
Plan and execute pop-up retail events across the 38-county council territory
Open the shop, review priorities, and set the floor for a polished, welcoming experience
Shift between the register, quick customer questions, and keeping product displays current
Check on inventory levels
Coordinate with the office on operational needs
Confirm details for upcoming pop-up locations
Stay visible on the floor
Ensure Customer Service standards are met
Reconcile the day’s activity
Note follow-ups
Prepare the store for the next business day
