This role is responsible for providing consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards. The Store Manager is directly responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals through the effective use of short- and long-term planning, expense control, sales and service, as well as high standards of customer service. This includes recruitment, training, development, and succession of high performing, results-driven employees, as well as payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maintain a highly profitable location while providing the highest levels of service to customers. The manager is also responsible for training and timely completion of all training programs, preparing and administering performance recognition, coaching conversations, and the annual Talent Management process. Additionally, the role involves Loss Prevention education and awareness programs, execution and processing of merchandise, achieving inventory and shrink goals, physical inventory counts, executing and managing marketing initiatives and events, maintaining POS access rights, and upholding Visual Guidelines and store presentation standards. The manager must comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies, and key accountabilities, while maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant working and shopping environment. Attendance at off-site training, position-related meetings, and participation in new store openings/closings may be required, potentially involving travel. This role requires working non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
