Requirements

  • Prior experience in retail management as a Lead Manager managing a team of 15+ employees (2 years+)
  • Extensive fashion knowledge including familiarity with labels, brands, designers and current trends.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations and bring our brand promise to life: to offer a fun, fashion-centered, and affordable shopping experience to our communities.
  • Create an inclusive environment where all feel welcome to enjoy a second-hand shopping and selling experience.
  • Learn how to run a second-hand business, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit, learning everything from buying, merchandising and inventory practices to gaining and maintaining the trust of a customer base.
  • Engage with new people daily, lead by example greeting each customer with a smile and welcome them to our store.
  • Create a welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment to shop and work in.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks, using the team to get everything done and run the store like a well-oiled machine.
  • Guide the team to help customers learn how the store works and try selling to us, understanding that each customer has different needs.
  • Mentor and coach team members in developing their skills using training tools and growth plans, with the goal to support the team.
  • Have clear and consistent communication with your manager, as partnership is a cornerstone of the leadership philosophy.
  • Find creative ways to enhance customer experience, employee engagement and overall store performance.
  • Act with integrity in words and actions – do the right thing and do it right, even when it’s difficult.
  • Embody core values of service, inclusion, and education, connecting with all customers and trying best to help them.
  • Show up to work on time and ready to go.
  • Support the team and customer as needed, understanding that needs change and evolve throughout the day.
