About The Position

The Retail Store Manager leads a retail operation and a team of 25–40 employees to achieve strong sales results and provide an excellent guest experience. The manager owns the store’s performance across its team, finances, operations, and overall guest experience, and represents the store in the community while fostering a positive, high-engagement culture. The role includes hiring, training, and developing hourly team members, as well as leading Assistant Store Managers and Shift Supervisors to build a strong talent pipeline. The manager also greets and assists donors and customers, monitors and maintains the store’s appearance, leads monthly meetings with store employees, attends monthly meetings with the Director and other store managers, and maintains company records and reporting.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience supervising teams of 25–40 employees.
Strong familiarity with developing budgets and creating plans to exceed financial expectations.
Focus on maintaining and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Demonstrated capacity to embrace change.
Demonstrated decision-making abilities.
Experience hiring and developing staff.
Proficiency with the MS Office suite.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related subject.
Bilingual language skills.
Prior military or related not-for-profit experience.
