About The Position

Daniel B. Krieg, Inc. in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking a full-time Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and lead a small team of associates. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar retail management role
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in using retail management software and point of sale (POS) systems
• Ability to work 50+ hours per week, including some Saturdays from May-October

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
• Forklift experience (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the retail store.
• Manage inventory, including checking, stocking, and placing orders.
• Conduct regular inventory audits.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 2-3 associates.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure products are stocked and well-displayed.
• Communicate with vendors regarding new product offerings.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Oversee sales strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Open the store daily.
