About The Position

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the store’s day-to-day sales and operations while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The role includes managing and supporting the sales team, overseeing store staffing and payroll, ensuring products are available and displayed appropriately, and carrying out operational tasks for institutional sales and rental accounts. The manager also promotes the Music & Arts lesson program and assists teachers. The position is eligible to participate in the Music & Arts Company bonus program based on company performance. The stated pay rate is $20.00–$23.00 per hour plus bonus, depending on location, background, and experience. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other factors, and pay ranges may differ by location.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of retail experience.
Musical experience and interest.

Responsibilities

Coach, counsel, advise, support, and motivate the sales team to help them meet sales objectives.
Stay current on financial data, inventory, and other statistics.
Ensure all store products are available for purchase and displayed appropriately.
Oversee and manage payroll, recruiting, hiring, and training of store employees.
Execute daily operational tasks related to institutional sales and rental services for assigned accounts.
Promote the Music & Arts lesson program and assist teachers.
Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
