About The Position

An Ollie’s Retail Store Manager provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire store. The role builds and leads Associate teams who are passionate about merchandising and creating exceptional customer experiences. The manager oversees financial performance, customer and Associate service, merchandising and inventory operations, team development, staffing, and store security.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays seasonally on a regular basis.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

Management experience with Walmart, Roses, Bed Bath and Beyond, Big Lots, Tractor Supply, or Rural King translates well to this opportunity.

Responsibilities

Oversee sales and profit goals, payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other company initiatives.
Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors and ensure company standards are consistently followed in Associate and Customer interactions.
Execute company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transitions, and inventory processes.
Coach, train, develop, evaluate, supervise, and schedule store associates to meet business needs and staffing budgets.
Maintain proper security of the store and company assets.
