About The Position

A Retail Store Manager provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire store. The manager builds and leads Associate teams who are passionate about merchandising and creating exceptional customer experiences. The role includes financial oversight, execution of company merchandising and operational strategies, development and supervision of Associates, and protection of store and company assets. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• Management experience with Walmart, Roses, Bed Bath and Beyond, Big Lots, Tractor Supply, or Rural King is noted as translating well to the opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and profit goals, including payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other initiatives set by Ollie’s Operations leadership.
• Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors and ensure company standards are consistently demonstrated in Associate and Customer interactions.
• Execute company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes to meet operational goals and expectations.
• Coach, train, develop, evaluate, supervise, and schedule store Associates to meet business needs and staffing budgets.
• Maintain proper security of the store location and all company assets.
