About The Position

An Ollie’s Retail Store Manager provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire store. The manager builds and leads Associate teams passionate about merchandising and creating exceptional customer experiences. The role oversees store financial goals, customer and Associate service, merchandising and inventory execution, team development, and store security.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays or seasonal periods on a regular basis.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• Management experience with Walmart, Roses, Bed Bath and Beyond, Big Lots, Tractor Supply, or Rural King is noted as translating well to the opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and profit goals, including payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other company initiatives.
• Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors and ensure company standards are consistently shown in Associate and Customer interactions.
• Execute company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes.
• Coach, train, develop, evaluate, supervise, and schedule store associates to meet business needs and staffing budgets.
• Maintain proper security of the store location and company assets.
