About The Position

An Ollie’s retail store manager provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire store. The manager builds and leads Associate teams who are passionate about merchandising and creating exceptional customer experiences. The role oversees store financial performance, customer and Associate service, merchandising and inventory operations, team development and scheduling, and store security.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons on a regular basis.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• Management experience with Walmart, Roses, Bed Bath and Beyond, Big Lots, Tractor Supply, or Rural King translates well to this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and profit goals, payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other company initiatives.
• Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors and ensure company standards are consistently followed in Associate and Customer interactions.
• Execute company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes.
• Coach, train, develop, evaluate, supervise, and schedule store associates to meet business needs and staffing budgets.
• Maintain proper security of the store and company assets.
