About The Position

This is a paid 10-week internship designed for college students eager to gain real-world experience in retail management within a Fortune 6 company that is revolutionizing health care. The program aims to immerse interns in the fast-paced world of retail operations, contributing to the company's mission of becoming the most consumer-centric health care company. Interns will gain hands-on experience leading a retail team, engaging with customers, and learning the day-to-day operations of a successful store. They will work alongside Store Managers and District Leaders to develop leadership skills, learn retail management best practices, and gain exposure to the broader organization through market travel. A key component of the internship is completing a business-focused project that addresses a real business opportunity, with findings and recommendations presented to leadership. Interns will learn to motivate and manage a store team, analyze business performance, and understand the impact of operational and strategic decisions on customer satisfaction and store results. The role involves supporting operational activities such as merchandise handling, inventory management, and stocking, and assisting the store in meeting customer needs during busy periods, including evenings and weekends. This internship offers a rewarding and impactful experience, allowing interns to make meaningful contributions while gaining valuable real-world exposure to retail operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program.
  • Expect to receive an associate or bachelor's degree between May 2027 and May 2028.
  • Available to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced work environment (e.g., retail, food service, hospitality).
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Must be interested in pursuing a career in retail store management.

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience is highly desired.
