About The Position

The Store Associate provides outstanding customer service, maintains a clean and safe store environment, accurately processes customer checkouts, efficiently stocks products, and works collaboratively with the team. The role includes stocking merchandise and maintaining product presentation, pricing, and signage accuracy. Associates also participate in inventory counts and opening and closing procedures, and may work in cold environments. The schedule is part-time, day shift, and may require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three or more months of retail experience preferred; food service experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds onto shelving at various heights.
• Ability to regularly use industrial ladders, including moving and climbing them and stocking shelves while on them.
• Flexibility to work department demands, which may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through all customer engagement activities in the store.
• Perform general cleaning duties and help maintain a safe environment.
• Process customer purchases and accurately balance the cash drawer.
• Keep shelves stocked and maintain merchandise presentation using material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate pricing and signage for products.
• Participate in store inventory counts and opening and closing procedures.
• Work in cold environments as required.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
