About The Position

We currently have an opportunity available for a Retail Store Associate in our Surplus City store. We are seeking a dynamic, friendly, outgoing person to assist customers and be the face of our brand at our Carlisle store. The Store Associate completes tasks that support the Store Manager and overall customer base. You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with customers, guiding them in their purchasing decisions to ensure their satisfaction. Your role will also involve maintaining the visual standards of the store’s unique environment, restocking shelves and ensuring all merchandise is displayed in an appealing manner. Requirements

Nice To Haves

• General knowledge of Fabrics and Crafts is a plus.
• Knowledge of Hardware is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Successful completion of the job training period.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and promote a positive, safe and clean work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the location.
• Answer customer questions, respond to customer requests and resolve customer issues.
• Complete accurate and efficient register transactions.
• Perform inventory duties such as unloading, scanning and stocking products onto the shelves.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
