Early Morning Retail Stockroom Processor
About The Position
The Retail Stockroom Processor receives, organizes, and processes merchandise in the stockroom so products are available and accessible for the sales floor. The role supports store operations by ensuring inventory accuracy and timely, efficient stock handling. This position is scheduled for a 6AM morning shift. The role also supports a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and following operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. Employees may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.
Requirements
- Excellent customer-service skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual, with a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and process merchandise in the stockroom.
- Tag, label, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
- Replenish sales-floor stock as needed based on store demands.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom.
- Follow company inventory-control and safety procedures.
- Work with merchandise coordinators and management to prioritize restocking needs.
- Assist with store recovery, markdowns, and stockroom organization projects.
- Engage and interact with customers while applying established customer-experience practices.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide the correct change.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising procedures and standards and prepare merchandise according to company procedures.
- Participate in store recovery and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
- Support store shrink-reduction goals and safety awareness.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
