Retail Early Morning Receiving Associate
About The Position
The Retail Early Morning Receiving Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, safety, and labor standards, and may involve cross-training in multiple areas to support business needs. The associate processes merchandise for the sales floor, supports merchandising and store recovery, helps maintain cleanliness and organization, and contributes to shrink reduction and safety programs. The role may also include accurately ringing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, and supporting positive interactions with customers, peers, and supervisors. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.

- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
