About The Position

This position involves selling retail merchandise and assisting with inventories in a retail shop environment. The role requires providing an engaging customer experience through friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service. Responsibilities include demonstrating and selling merchandise, accurately processing transactions, maintaining store appearance, and restocking merchandise. The associate will also complete daily opening and closing procedures and collaborate with other departments to foster a positive working environment. Physical performance of job functions, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and consistent attendance are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of POS system.
Basic knowledge and experience with cash handling.
Provide product knowledge to the customer.
Excellent customer services skills in person and by phone.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers.
Ability to work a schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and multitask.
Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
Organized and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation.
Must be 18 years of age.
Background check.

Nice To Haves

One year retail management experience desired.
One year experience with POS software desired.
Cash handling and customer service experience desired.

Responsibilities

Provide an engaging customer experience through friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
Demonstrate and sell merchandise to customers.
Accurately process cash, credit cards, and gift card transactions and operate a cash register.
Be familiar with Resort products and services to answer guest questions and provide product recommendations.
Maintain store’s appearance to keep products neat and organized.
Correctly inventory, restock, and label merchandise.
Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
Work together with all departments to build a positive working environment.
Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Perform the job and get along with others.
Show up to work on time, consistent attendance, and dependable.
