About The Position

This role is for a Retail Shift Manager (Lead Pawn Broker) at Value Pawn & Jewelry, part of the EZCORP family of brands. EZCORP is a leading provider of pawn loans in the United States and Latin America, passionate about customer service. The position involves providing outstanding customer service, building solid relationships with customers, promoting sales, making deals for a wide variety of pawn items, and leading and influencing Team Members through coaching and hands-on involvement. As a Shift Manager, the responsibility is to provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment. EZCORP offers a structured career path, including a 5-week paid training program to become a Lead Pawnbroker and structured leadership training programs, with the opportunity to apply for a Store Manager in Training position which includes a 12-week training program.

  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers
  • Promote sales and make deals for a wide variety of pawn items
  • Lead and influence Team Members around you through coaching and hands-on involvement
  • Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that clearly sets EZPAWN apart from the competition
  • Process loans and extensions
  • Come to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned
  • Perform opening and closing store procedures
  • Supervise and coach store Team Members
