EZCORP is seeking a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) to lead the way and step into greater roles tomorrow. The Retail Shift Leader (Lead Pawn Broker) position offers competitive pay, generous bonus potential, and great benefits. The role includes a structured career path, leadership training, and a path to Assistant Manager and Store Manager roles. Upon completion of a 5-week paid training program, a $.50 raise is awarded, and the role transitions to Lead Pawnbroker. The position involves providing outstanding customer service, building customer relationships, promoting sales, and making deals for pawn items. It offers career growth in a retail environment, community connection, and the opportunity to lead and influence Team Members through coaching and hands-on involvement. The Retail Shift Leader is responsible for creating a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
- Sales background, a plus
- Bilingual, a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers.
- Promote sales and make deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
- Lead and influence Team Members through coaching and hands-on involvement.
- Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.
- Process loans and extensions.
- Come to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned.
- Perform opening and closing store procedures.
- Supervise and coach store Team Members.
