About The Position

Imperial is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Retail Service Merchandiser to support supermarket non-food merchandise programs. The role involves independent store visits, maintaining merchandise and displays, managing inventory, and building relationships with store personnel. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced, physical work environment, provide strong customer service, and work a daytime schedule. The listed schedule is Monday morning for four hours.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills, including using a login and password and following simple instructions.
Ability to read and write short correspondence and memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds.
Ability to perform arithmetic using American money and units of weight, volume, and distance.
Own and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising.
Knowledge of products and/or experience merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products.

Responsibilities

Make regularly scheduled store visits.
Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained.
Set up and maintain promotional and sales displays, including introducing and cutting in new items.
Complete resets.
Build relationships with store managers and employees.
Stock merchandise.
Maintain shelf conditions by keeping sections blocked and free of debris.
Ensure tag and price compliance.
Reorder products serviced.
Maintain inventory levels for inline sections, power panels, clip strips, and cross-merchandise.
Prepare and submit weekly service reports on time via tablet.
Manage back stock so products are worked to the shelf.
Ensure planogram compliance at the shelf.
Perform other duties as assigned.
