About The Position

Imperial is seeking a self-motivated Retail Service Merchandiser to support supermarket partners by maintaining general merchandise categories in retail stores. The role involves scheduled store visits, stocking and replenishing products, setting up and maintaining displays, completing resets, and ensuring shelves meet planogram, pricing, and presentation standards. The merchandiser also manages back stock and inventory, reorders products, builds relationships with store personnel, and submits weekly service reports by tablet. The schedule is a four-hour Monday morning shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use a login and password and follow simple instructions.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds.
• Ability to perform calculations using units of American money and measurements of weight, volume, and distance.
• Own or have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising.
• Knowledge of products and/or experience merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products.

Responsibilities

• Make regularly scheduled store visits.
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained.
• Set up and maintain promotional and sales displays, including introducing and cutting in new items.
• Complete resets.
• Build relationships with store managers and employees.
• Stock merchandise.
• Maintain shelf conditions by keeping sections blocked and free of debris.
• Ensure tag and price compliance.
• Reorder products being serviced.
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections, power panels, clip strips, and cross-merchandise.
• Prepare and submit weekly service reports via tablet in a timely manner.
• Manage back stock and ensure product is worked to the shelf.
• Ensure planogram compliance at the shelf.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
