About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing security operations within a retail or mall environment. The supervisor will ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, and property, while also managing a team of security personnel. The position requires strong leadership, customer service, and incident management skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Clear a criminal background check.
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum 2–3 years in security operations (retail/mall environment preferred).
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role (team lead, sergeant, captain).
• Strong leadership and conflict deescalation skills.
• Incident management and emergency response experience.
• Customer service skills for tenant and guest interactions.
• Familiarity with CCTV/control room operations.
• Ability to write clear incident reports.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Guard card/license as required by state.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mall or large retail environments.
• Knowledge of loss prevention and theft deterrence.
• Training experience (OJT, performance coaching).
• Familiarity with emergency evacuation plans and drills.
