Requirements

MUST be willing and able to travel to White Plains, NY
Valid New York State Security Guard License required
Must be at least 18 years of age
MUST be comfortable standing and walking for the duration of the shift
Ability to remain alert and attentive in a busy retail environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow post orders, policies, and procedures
Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

Nice To Haves

Prior retail, loss prevention, or mall security experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Maintain a strong and professional security presence throughout the property to help deter theft and other security concerns
Conduct routine foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, and parking areas
Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations
Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly, professionally, and in accordance with established procedures
Provide professional customer service and assistance to customers, employees, and visitors
Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor
Communicate and coordinate with management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and other required documentation
Maintain awareness of your surroundings and proactively identify potential security concerns
Perform other duties as assigned by site management
