We are looking for a Full Time, Retail Security Guard in Sudbury! Successful applicants will be available between 0900-2200 everyday and be available to work 4-5 shifts per week as assigned. Requirements

Be eligible to work in Canada
A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
A valid First Aid & CPR certificate from a WSIB approved provider
Available to work flexible hours
Available between 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day
Have a clear criminal background
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Be physically able to take and pass a Use of Force class

Nice To Haves

Previous certification in NVCI or Verbal Intervention an asset

Responsibilities

Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
Act as a visual deterrant for those looking to shoplift
React quickly to threats or incidents
Intercept shoplifters and potential shoplifters to deter them from continuing their actions
Document incidents and actions taken
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
Foster a safe and comfortable environment for staff and patrons
