About The Position

The Retail Seasonal Sales Associate executes guest-facing, team, and operational responsibilities to deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive sales growth. The role contributes to a welcoming store environment, uses product knowledge to understand guest needs and build emotional connections, and applies company selling strategies to maximize sales and customer loyalty. The associate supports the Store Manager and team, maintains store standards, assists with inventory and expense control, and follows safety, loss prevention, company policy, and Code of Ethics requirements.

Requirements

High school completion or equivalent GED.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Proven retail experience; 1+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

Understand guest needs through product knowledge and make emotional connections.
Implement company selling strategies, maximize sales potential, and build lasting customer relationships to enhance loyalty.
Promote the Rewards Loyalty program and drive guest loyalty through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Maintain store appearance according to company visual standards, including plan-o-grams, visual maintenance, signage, and cleanliness.
Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team that represents Newell Brand Values.
Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
Support inventory management activities and control expenses.
Incorporate safety and loss prevention measures into daily activities and follow company policies and the Code of Ethics.
Strive to achieve or exceed KPI goals through strategic planning, effective execution, and continuous performance improvement.
