About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and throughout aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app and are asked to provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. Associates complete weekly in-store data collections for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Display scanning covers the entire store and may take several hours. Clients also frequently request Custom Projects that provide more detailed product information in main stocking locations; these projects occur almost every week and may add one to two hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines. Base hours average 4.5 to 10 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically one to two hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. This permanent part-time role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours, while requiring continuous physical activity during the workday. The listed route includes convenience and grocery stores in Gainesville, Newberry, and Old Town, Florida, with workdays varying by store. The position is expected to remain open for approximately 30 days, but may close earlier if sufficient qualified candidates are identified. The role is subject to AI-assisted screening of resumes for alignment with job requirements.
