About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan barcodes throughout each store and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

Associates complete weekly display scanning throughout the entire store, which can take several hours, and may also complete Custom Projects requested by clients. These projects occur almost every week and typically add 1–2 hours per store. Associates must visit assigned stores within specified deadlines and work reliably throughout the year, including holiday weeks. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in scheduling. Base hours average 2–6 hours per week across all stores, with additional hours often assigned for special projects, particularly from January through June.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
