About The Position

This is a permanent part-time role where associates visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations. The collected data is used to improve sales performance for products and retailers. The role offers workplace independence, flexibility in hours, and job consistency, with continuous physical activity required throughout the workday. Associates use a mobile app to scan barcodes and may be asked to provide product quantities for approximately 45% of scanned items. Custom projects, which involve collecting more specific product details, occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store per week.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps, throughout designated stores each week.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations within each store.
• Provide the quantity of approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store each week.
• Perform Custom Projects as requested by clients, which may involve collecting specific details about products in main stocking locations.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines for data delivery.
