About The Position

Nordstrom is hosting a Hiring Event on Thursday, October 8th, 2026, at their Garden State Plaza location (501 Garden State Plaza, Paramus, NJ 07652) between 11 am and 5 pm. No appointment is necessary, and candidates should allow approximately one hour for the interview process. On-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. Requirements

• Sales: $16.15-$216.15 Hourly
• Seasonal Stock: $20.00-$20.80 hourly

• At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%.
• The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.

Responsibilities

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
