The primary role of the Sales Supervisor is to develop their team for success by becoming proficient in guest engagement to achieve revenue and budgeted sales targets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include maintaining a primary focus on the support and development of each team member through our sales proficiency process, ensuring the retail store team is accurately staffed, and assisting with developing schedules that accurately match team member skills to guest demand. The supervisor will role model the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Sales Model, execute Sales Floor Leadership and Guest Engagement Leadership responsibilities when assigned, and ensure team completes ongoing development training and style guide directives. They will also ensure daily task lists are completed by store teams, help address escalated guest situations and resolution, and comprehend, interpret, and apply data to assess the current departmental focus. Partnering with Retail Sales Managers to meet and exceed sales goals, fostering team member development to build a strong talent bench, conducting regular check-ins, one-on-one meetings, and performance management sessions are also key responsibilities. The role involves cultivating a positive store culture by acting as a servant leader, prioritizing the experiences of both guests and team members, and implementing initiatives that boost morale and engagement while meeting business goals.
