About The Position

As a Retail Sales Specialist in the appliances department, you’ll engage with customers to learn their needs, provide excellent service, perform product demonstrations and make helpful recommendations. Best Buy provides training to help you become an expert on kitchen and laundry appliances, including their specifications, features and benefits. You’ll support the customer experience, complete transactions, contribute to profitable growth and achieve sales goals while maintaining department merchandising and readiness. You’ll also help train other sales floor personnel on how to succeed in the department.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service or related fields.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience selling premium products, luxury brands and/or in custom design environments.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer relationship management (CRM).

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in the appliances department to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals.
• Stay informed about the latest technology trends and products through continuous learning and professional development.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines, and use tools and techniques to manage time effectively.
• Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers.
• Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department.
• Learn about kitchen and laundry appliance specifications, features and benefits, and provide product demonstrations and recommendations.
