About The Position
Dealer Tire, a family-owned, international distributor of tires and parts established in 1918, is seeking driven individuals to join their team as Retail Tire Sales Representatives. This role is ideal for top performers in retail sales who are skilled at building relationships, uncovering needs, and closing deals. The position offers a stable career with growth opportunities, better pay, work-life balance, and is located within a premium OEM automotive dealership where you will represent Dealer Tire as the go-to tire expert. After a comprehensive, paid training program, you will engage customers, sell tires to exceed goals, perform tire inspections, identify and explain tire-related issues, recommend services, quote prices, maintain relationships, and support store operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail, service, or sales experience.
- Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills.
- A natural relationship builder with strong sales instincts.
- Comfortable using computer-based tools and order systems.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Engaging customers on the service drive and selling tires to exceed assigned goals.
- Performing quick tire inspections.
- Identifying and explaining tire related issues, recommending service, and quoting prices.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and dealership teams.
- Supporting store operations like inventory, opening/closing, and reporting.
