On behalf of our client, NRG, we are looking for Retail Sales Associates with enthusiastic personalities to join our team of Energy Pros. As an Energy Pro, you will work within your local retailer, engage with consumers about NRG electricity and gas, and help customers in your community by lowering their energy costs. You will learn how to uncover consumer desires and overcome objections, foster professional relationships with customers and fellow employees, welcome customers and politely offer solutions, and collaborate with your team to accomplish goals and celebrate success. This role does not involve door-to-door, cold calling, or telemarketing. The job description also details responsibilities such as selling products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments, maintaining professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees, meeting or exceeding personal sales goals on a monthly basis, courteously welcoming customers and offering assistance, directing customers by escorting them to displays, assessing needs and suggesting products to fit those needs, advising customers by providing information on products and services, helping customers make selections by building customer confidence, accurately documenting and reporting sales, contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, being responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations, and ensuring the work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times. Performance is measured by regular and prompt attendance, meeting established monthly/weekly sales quotas/goals, and customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints.
