About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with walk-in customers and helping them to meet all of their tire and service needs. Employees in this position must have a thorough understanding of common vehicle problems and tire related products.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a service related industry
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in data entry and retrieval (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic internet skills)

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products, services, and industry trends and standards.
• Discuss service solutions with customer after a mechanic has assessed the problem.
• Provide quotes for mechanical repairs and tire replacement.
• Create work orders in POS system for each customer and process payments.
• Order tires from internal warehouse and external vendors as needed.
• Ensure completion of open work orders.
• Follow all safety regulations, processes and procedures required by Parrish Tire Company, TIA, OSHA and NCDOL.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager including: quarterly inventory counts, attending training seminars, helping in other departments, assisting with training of new sales personnel and delivery of products.
