The Hunting Retail Manager supervises the Hunting/Firearms Departments within the store to include compliance standards with all applicable laws and company policies, merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, Outfitter selection development training and customer service activities. This role involves leading firearm compliance sales standards, ensuring safe handling and operations, and providing a strong commitment to world-class customer service. The manager is responsible for meeting financial plans, executing sales plans, opening and closing the store, maintaining planograms, staffing departments with service-oriented associates, and resolving customer and Outfitter issues. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, and addressing complaints. The position also focuses on providing a legendary customer experience by assisting with buying decisions, making product recommendations, and promoting company programs.
