About The Position

As a Sales Floor Lead, Operations, you’ll help model meaningful customer experiences while supporting team success and driving showroom performance. For our new Bellevue Store, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our brand-new location. You are: An Operational Champion & Role Model: Ready to establish foundational operational processes, maintain inventory accuracy, and step up as a trusted Manager on Duty to keep daily operations running safely and efficiently. A Hands-On Peer Coach: Skilled at supporting the team in real-time, sharing operational standards and safety practices, and guiding the floor during your MOD shifts to help Home Experts build confidence. A Champion for Customer Connection: Focused on ensuring a safe, organized, and operationally ready showroom that enables an incredible customer experience, while handling floor escalations with empathy and care.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, sales, customer service, or a similar customer-facing environment.
  • Keyholder experience (e.g., Lead, Senior Associate, or Keyholder) is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with, or a strong interest in, clienteling, appointment-based selling, or customer outreach.
  • Comfort using point-of-sale systems, inventory management tools and retail technology.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a natural ability to connect with people and build trust quickly.
  • Models hospitality-first service, positive energy, and work ethic on the sales floor.
  • Offers on-the-spot coaching, shares product tips, and helps peers gain confidence.
  • Comfortably steps up as the Manager on Duty (MOD) to keep the floor running smoothly and handle basic opening/closing procedures.
  • Fosters a collaborative, supportive team environment where wins are celebrated.
  • A customer-first mindset and a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
  • Confidence building relationships and creating meaningful customer connections.

Responsibilities

  • Champion operational standards, SOPs, and safety culture across the showroom and back-of-house environment.
  • Support shipment receiving, replenishment, inventory audits, and control practices.
  • Maintain a safe, organized showroom ready for promotions, events, inventory activities, and daily customer traffic.
  • Monitor inventory discrepancies, damages, and product recovery processes, partnering with leadership to resolve issues quickly.
  • Guide and coach associates on operational standards, safety practices, and accountability.
  • Create welcoming, engaging, and personalized experiences to build customer trust and loyalty.
  • Guide customers through their buying journey, recommend solutions, and consistently meet individual sales goals while supporting overall showroom performance.
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty during designated shifts, managing opening/closing checklists, and keeping the team organized and on task.
  • Support the onboarding of Home Experts, coaching them on operational standards, safety practices, and sales skills.
  • Serve as an accessible, trusted resource for the team throughout the day to keep the floor running smoothly.
  • Work directly under the Assistant Manager to help execute showroom initiatives and daily operational strategies.
