About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing employment and training services to help people find jobs and reach financial stability. This role is for a Clothing Inspector who is a "go getter", goal-oriented person with an eye for details. Success in this role requires enjoying working independently, being organized, dependable, and meeting production goals. Requirements

  • Must have an eye for quality and be able to consistently be alert to defects.
  • Ability to avoid distractions and focus on working efficiently and quickly.
  • Must be organized and dependable.
  • Must be able to meet production goals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Production or similar experience preferred.
  • Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Sorting clothing: must have an eye for quality and be able to consistently be alert to defects.
  • Hanging and tagging clothing requires the ability to avoid distractions and focus on working efficiently and quickly.
  • Maintaining a safe and neat work environment- taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
  • Position may include cross-training in the following areas: Cash Register; Receiving, pricing and stocking donations.
