About The Position

Clothing Hangers/Inspectors help ensure stores are stocked with high-quality, attractive clothing. The role involves repetitive sorting, tagging, and hanging of clothing in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting production goals and maintaining quality standards. Team members maintain a safe, neat, and efficient work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register duties and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.

Requirements

• Able to sort, tag, and hang clothing repetitively.
• Able to remain alert to clothing defects and focus on work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and friendly, with an interest in meeting production goals.
• Available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort clothing and consistently identify defects to ensure merchandise meets Goodwill’s quality standards.
• Hang and tag clothing efficiently and quickly while avoiding distractions.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and efficient work environment.
• Meet production goals and work to high expectations.
• Potentially perform cash register duties and receive, price, and stock donations after cross-training.
