About The Position

Medieval Times is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Clerks to provide outstanding customer service while selling retail merchandise and photos. The role involves engaging guests, helping them enhance their Medieval Times experience, answering questions, taking photos, and selling products in the arena. Clerks also help maintain merchandise displays and complete physical inventory counts. No experience is necessary; this is described as a great first-job opportunity for someone with an outgoing personality and a passion for guest service.

Requirements

Ability to process information through a computer system.
Ability to count money and make change.
Ability to proactively engage guests in making a sale.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, team members, and guests.
Ability to read, count, and write to complete documentation accurately.
Ability to stand, walk, and use stairs during assigned shifts.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and determine their wants or needs.
Help guests enhance their Medieval Times experience and provide a positive guest experience.
Answer questions about merchandise and pricing.
Explain photo-taking and purchasing options.
Use a camera to take staged and candid photos of guests.
Sell retail items and photos to guests in the arena.
Assist with monthly and quarterly physical merchandise inventories.
Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and payment and exchange policies.
Follow Medieval Times cash-handling policies.
Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
