About The Position

Retail Sales Associates support the customer experience across retail, rental, custom, and omni-channel businesses within a store location. They build customer relationships from greeting through post-sale contact, use benchmark selling techniques, contribute to store sales goals, assist with merchandising and stock counts, and operate the point-of-sale register. Team members may have the opportunity to work voluntarily across multiple store or site locations and brands. Requirements

Provide customer-focused service and deliver a world-class customer experience.
Have a desire to learn and adapt to new programs.
Work well and consult with retail sales associates at all levels, contributing to a positive work environment.
Stand and walk for most of the work shift; frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 lbs.; climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies; and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
Encourage and participate in team selling and contribute to store sales volume and metrics goals.
Assist with visual merchandising, setup, and other store-related projects.
Conduct merchandise stock counts.
Handle the cash register at the point of sale.
