Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by providing automotive product advice, assisting with product selection, maintaining inventory and store organization, and contributing to a positive retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to stay informed about parts, tools, and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes, follow company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Use AutoZone systems to stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
