About The Position

Boscov’s is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join their team. This role involves developing customer relationships and ensuring customer needs are met efficiently. Requirements

Ability and desire to actively engage customers, sell merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with basic math skills.
Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon.
Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Build customer confidence, provide accurate information, and promote products.
Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with customers to close sales and provide excellent customer experience.
Sell merchandise and provide customer service according to company standards (greeting customers, product knowledge, etc.).
Maintain the appearance of the selling floor.
Perform marketing activities such as opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to achieve company goals.
Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise; process and maintain stock by assisting in receiving, folding, straightening, and replenishing merchandise.
