The CHEF’STORE Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of superior customer service, promoting the US Foods strategy: Great Food, Made Easy. This role requires adherence to US Foods Cultural Beliefs: Deliver Excellence, Stop Waste, WIN Together, Speak Up and You Matter. As a key team member, the associate will perform various roles including Cashier, Stocker, and Customer Courtesy, demonstrating a passion for service. Assignments may vary by department based on customer and business needs, including the front end for sales and checkout, or the sales floor for Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, and Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply departments, involving freight replenishment and product rotation. The associate may also assist with special store events such as Vendor Fairs, sales floor resets, and inventory processes.
