About The Position

As a Sales Associate at Target Optical, you provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages positive customer connections and brand loyalty. You represent the brand by helping customers, staying informed about the product assortment, maintaining visual standards, and responding to customer needs. The role includes supporting VIP clientele, following management direction and company policies, occasionally assisting with store opening and closing duties, and attending occasional work meetings. Target Optical is part of EssilorLuxottica, a global vision-care and eyewear company.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous sales or customer service experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating an excellent customer experience.
Self-motivated team player.

Responsibilities

Promote an excellent customer experience by greeting and serving customers.
Inform merchandisers or managers about stocking needs.
Maintain visual standards set by management and the company.
Resolve customer issues and involve management when needed.
Provide high-touch assistance in complex customer service situations for VIP clientele and support their retention.
Stay up to date on the current product assortment and serve as an informed brand ambassador.
Listen to and act on instructions from management or a superior.
Occasionally assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
Comply with professional regulations, internal rules, and the company’s code of conduct.
Attend and participate in occasional work meetings.
Be punctual for shifts and proactively communicate obstacles to a manager.
Represent the brand by drawing on personal style and connections to local and broader communities.
