About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The role focuses on helping clients choose tanning and wellness services and products through friendly, professional customer service and recommendations. Associates work in a positive, fast-paced salon environment, collaborate with teammates, and help maintain salon cleanliness. The position offers a base wage of $11.50 per hour or more, with performance bonuses; the stated average earnings of $15.50 per hour are not guaranteed and depend on meeting performance and training criteria. Associates may work independently during shifts when business needs require.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to provide professional customer service and build relationships with clients.
Ability to recommend products and services and meet minimum sales requirements.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced salon environment.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up items from the floor.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
Engage with clients, build relationships, understand their needs, and make recommendations for products and services.

Multi-task, including cleaning tanning beds after clients leave and engaging with new clients as they arrive.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
