About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for its Lawrenceburg, Kentucky salon. The role provides customer service and product and service recommendations while maintaining a clean, welcoming salon. Team members work in a fast-paced environment, support clients’ needs, meet minimum sales requirements, and may work independently during shifts as business needs require. Pay starts at $11.50 per hour or more, with performance bonuses; the stated average earnings of $15.50 per hour are not guaranteed and reflect team members who meet performance and training criteria.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to provide professional customer service and build relationships with clients.
Ability to make product and service recommendations and meet minimum sales requirements.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
Build positive relationships with clients, understand their needs, and make recommendations for products and services.
Meet the minimum sales requirements.
Multitask, including cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging with new clients upon arrival.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with the team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon while following company policies and procedures.
Use basic computer skills and knowledge.
